EVOLVING POKEMON WITH LEGOS
Artist Mike Nieves made this incredible series of Pokemon out of LEGO including: Blastoise, Mew, Mewtwo and Samurott. These are but a small selection of his collection so check out his flickr for more.
Since one character can do anything and everything, but not all at once, it seems like you’ll only need one character, unless you want to play with friends in another “Faction.” That’s the other thing that will be nice to see. As opposed to the dual faction thing, they added a third and all factions can understand the others in chat apparently (still unconfirmed) since, if it’s true, it could make pvp very fun. Build an alliance with another organization, then betray them. One feature that would be fun would be either a “spy” option or the ability to defect to another organization. The Spy thing would be more fun, but either way, a way to initiate into another group would be something new.
So far, the combat seems a little slow, but they said that it’s still being tweaked and made faster and more intuitive. The trailer for “Blue Mountain” was pretty amazing though. It felt very “Alan Wake meets Zombies.” Makes the game feel kind of survival horror, since a lot of other areas apparently have things up on rooftops hunting you and attempt to ambush you.
Oh, did I mention you can climb ladders and ropes? Cause that’s a pretty big deal. The success/failure chance of the game is yet to be seen, but so far it seems like it could be really good. PvP will be a huge deciding factor, though not the only one. I really do hope it turns out as a good MMO. It seems to be trying new things, which is good. I’ll post the Blue Mountain trailer now as well.
